Support our work
Your donation keeps someone supplied.
ZOST receives no government funding and has no institutional donor. Every volunteer works unpaid, and administration has been carried by the volunteers themselves. Donations are what allow supplies to reach ostomates.
Where donations go
The largest costs are not glamorous. They are the practical things that stand between a donated pouch and the person who needs it.
Import and clearance
Donated consignments arrive from abroad, and duty and clearing costs must be paid before the goods can be released. Without this, supplies sit in a warehouse while ostomates go without.
Storage and distribution
Somewhere safe and dry to keep stock, and the transport that carries supplies to ostomates in other towns and provinces.
Education and outreach
Teaching patients, families and health workers how to care for a stoma, and reaching ostomates who do not yet know we exist.
Donate funds by bank transfer
Transfers go directly to the trust’s own accounts, held in the registered name of the organisation. For donations from outside Zimbabwe, please use the foreign currency account and the SWIFT code.

Donate ostomy products
Most of the supplies we distribute were donated in kind. If you, your hospital, clinic or organisation has ostomy products to give, we would be glad to hear from you.
What we can use
- Colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy pouches, one piece and two piece
- Paediatric pouches, which are always in short supply
- Base plates and flanges in a range of sizes
- Stoma paste, powder, barrier rings and adhesive removers
- Belts and pouch covers
- Wheelchairs and mobility aids
Partner with us
Companies, foundations, hospitals and service clubs have helped ZOST with product, transport, clearing and funding. If your organisation would like to support ostomates in Zimbabwe, we would welcome the conversation.
