Zimbabwe Ostomates Support Trust supplies ostomy pouches, accessories, education and emotional support to ostomates across Zimbabwe, whatever their income and wherever they live. We are volunteer run and registered as a nonprofit trust.

The problem we exist to solve
Ostomy supplies are scarce and priced out of reach.
An ostomate needs pouches every single day. In Zimbabwe they are sold in very few outlets, often at prices ordinary families cannot meet. Without them people face leaks, odour, damaged skin and the isolation that follows.
Most of the people we serve are unemployed, elderly, women or children. ZOST exists so that no ostomate in Zimbabwe is left without the supplies and knowledge they need to live normally.
What ZOST provides

- Deodorants, pastes, belts and stoma powders
- Wheelchairs and mobility support where available
- Practical stoma care education for patients and families
- Counselling from a qualified volunteer counsellor
- Peer meetings where ostomates support each other
Every volunteer works unpaid. Supplies reach ostomates because individuals and partner organisations donate them.
